Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
About Pat's Humor: Patty's quite funny! She can make you laugh just by giving you a look, because her face can be very expressive of what she is thinking. But she's very serious about not hurting anyone's feelings; everything is in good humor. About Pat's Math: Patty and I used to compete on our math equations senior year of high school during our gym class. We'd sneak homework in whenever our gym coach stepped out. We had fun timing ourselves and comparing our answers until we could explain who was right. About Pat's Tutoring Skills: I'd have writer's cramp, sitting by myself, trying to concentrate in the cafeteria during breaks. Once, I asked Patty for help trying to get started with the paper. She sat next to me and she kept waiting for me to ask questions. In record time I had finished the paper! It's amazing, all she had to do was sit at the table and my writing improved! About Pat's Fitness: I admire Patty's involvement in the track program at school. She really took track seriously and learned a lot from it. She also kept up with the group in MC JROTC. Gosh, we had to keep up with tall people when we jogged, but she kept up just fine. About Patty as a Friend: I regret not writing as much or sending cards. Patty is a great friend, regardless of how much we keep in touch. We sometimes lose touch but once we talk again we can take right off from where we left off. She always sent me Birthday cards and Valentine notes. Some day I hope to meet up with Patty and catch up on old times. About Patty's Success: 1st Sgt Brown always told us "Knowledge is Power and Power is Victory!" I believe Patty has taken this advice to heart. She has accomplished wonderful things with her career and I admire her for that. Not only has she achieved a Bachelor's Degree, she went on to complete her Master's degrees and is now working on her PhD at the young age of 25. God has blessed you with knowledge, and may he bless you with more knowledge and an abundance of wisdom.
